Style is Denise's first solo release, made about half a year after the versus tape Kickin' Arse
with Thomas Trouble. You can see the progression made since Kickin' Arse in regards to both track selection
and mixing style. There are much longer & smoother mixes on Style, as well as a few tricks thrown in for good
measure. In addition, Denise's affinity for harder, less trancier and more housey music was in it's infancy with this
compilation. In 2000 when this mix was recorded, Denise didn't even know about these genres called "NRG" and "UK hard house."
It was all simply "hard trance" at the time.
